Visit Palm Beach is hiring concierge & customer service staff (Downtown West Palm Beach) for the Waterfront Hut.
We’re looking for a friendly, reliable team member to help out at our Waterfront Hut! You’ll be the go-to person for booking our fun waterfront activities and excursions, handling check-ins, managing some paperwork, and helping out with events. There will be some cash handling and opening/closing duties too.
We need someone who’s upbeat, flexible, and ready to jump in where needed. You should be great with people, comfortable handling sales, and ready to help make sure every guest has a great experience. Good communication is key—whether it’s chatting with guests or keeping things organized behind the scenes.
The Hut operates seven days per week from 9:45am-7pm, so your part-time hours would be within this time frame. Some weekend hours will be required. A positive attitude, team mentality, and professional appearance are must-haves!
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong customer service skills – anticipating and meeting customer needs while maintaining professionalism
- Outgoing and comfortable approaching visitors and customers
- Familiar with West Palm Beach and/or Palm Beach County
- Able to anticipate managers’ needs and take initiative to complete tasks
- Ensures daily procedures are completed thoroughly
- Proficient in Microsoft programs (Excel, Word)
- Maintains clear and consistent communication with management
- Flexible schedule with weekend availability – also some nights, holidays, indoors, outdoors, and at special events
- Ideal candidate is passionate about West Palm Beach, teachable, has a positive attitude, and loves to engage with people! Spanish speaking a plus! Social Media skills a plus!!
