This kayak adventure combines the natural beauty of the Bingham Islands, protected by the National Audubon Society with the mega-mansions of Palm Beach like the former Marjorie Merriwether Post's Mar-a-Lago estate, now owned by Donald Trump. The mangrove islands are basically untouched by man, filled with birds and often avoided by powerboats due to the shallow surrounding waters. We also explore the Everglade Islands that offer views of breath-taking estates.

   Mangrove Creek Eco Tour

Over the bridge and through the forest" - Hidden away in beautiful Boca Raton is one of the area's best kept secrets. Tucked away in a lush green mangrove forest is our "private" Kayak Outpost - Mangrove Creek - where your adventure begins. Your tour begins with a short shaded walk on the boardwalk with our naturalist - learning about our diverse combination of flora and fauna in this dense jungle-like "hammock". Then off to kayaks and you will paddle through the serene shaded canopy of mangrove trails. Watch for osprey, pelicans, roseate spoonbills and other birds who call this place home.

Join the fun! Learn to kayak from the skilled instructors from Visit Palm Beach. You will learn basic paddling skills and build self confidence as you paddle our stable, sit-on-top kayaks on the gentle, warm waters of Lake Wyman.  A great way for novices who would like to try this growing activity, or for those who would like to learn to paddle efficiently.    Peanut Island Adventure - A Self Guided Exploration



 

 This is a self-guided tour. You'll meet your Visit Palm Beach staff member who will fit you for a shorty wetsuit (weather appropriate), snorkel gear and kayak.  After a brief discussion of where to explore, the navigation rules and a few safety reminders - your exploration begins! Let us plan your trip based upon the tides so that the snorkeling on the artificial reef will be in clear, blue tropical waters.  Your schedule is of your own making, so plan on packing a lunch and make a full day of it - snorkeling, paddling, sunning and swimming!
