Parasailing in the Palm Beaches is an adventure that will take your breath away. Anyone can parasail and no skill or training is necessary. You may go solo or team up and fly in tandem and take in the breathtaking views together.

THE EXPERIENCE:
After the boat mate safely secures you in a flight harness, the crew will lead up to the boats "Flight-Deck" where you sit down. As the boat surges forward and picks up speed you'll feel the line pulling out, then in the blink of an eye you're pulled off the back of the boat and your journey to the outer limits begins.

What a feeling as you slowly ascend, going higher and higher, your surroundings begin to get more and more quiet as well as smaller and smaller. When you get to the full length of the line, (about 800 feet) you’ll be totally awed by the spectacular sights in every direction. Below you the boat churns up the blue waters of the Atlantic Ocean as the wind flows through your hair.

After you are fully aloft, the Captain will put you in a "free-fall" mode. In free-fall the Captain will stops the boat. You slowly descend to earth for as much as a minute - and just as you touch the surface of the water, the Captain will re-accelerate, pulling you back skyward again. (Many people have said that their free-fall was the most thrilling part of the ride) .

After about 15 minutes aloft, you'll feel a slight tug on the line as the Captain re-engages the winch to pull you back down to sea level. A few seconds later you'll find that the landing on the flight-deck was every bit as soft and easy as your liftoff. You will climb down from the flight-deck with an overwhelming desire to do it again!

THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW:

Each parasail trip will take up to 12 people at a one time on the boat.
The boat will leave the dock promptly for each pre-scheduled trip. (please arrive at least 15 minutes early)
Reservations can be made for departures starting at 10 a.m. and running to approx. 5 p.m.
You may fly single or tandem.
Located at the Riviera Beach Marina (200 East 13th St. call for directions)
 

THE DETAILS:
Cost per person (Single or Tandem): $75.00
Cost per Observer: $30.00 per person.
NOTE: Persons flying have seating priority. Observers may be "bumped" for flyers.
Total time of trip: 1-1 1/2 hour
Total flight time: 10-12 minutes (single / tandem)
