  The
ancient and mystical art of mosaics has seen a recent revival around
the world. Whether it's in the style of the Roman traditionalists or
the complexities of the “Shard method”, mosaics are now popping up
everywhere. From museums to hotel lobbies, to kitchen countertops, to
backyard gardens, mosaics are adorning both public arenas and private
residences. This unique and original art, revered for it’s intricacies
and beauty, is as pleasing to create, as it is to view. Now you can
experience the joy of creating your very own piece of art.
Your class begins with an introduction to mosaics by our artist. You
will also have the opportunity to view some of this artist’s work.
This will give you ideas for your artwork. Each student can create a
6" x 6" mosaic tile using an assortment of colored pieces of tile, as
well as novelty pieces, such as flowers, animals and decorative
designs. Each student’s mosaic will reflect his/her own individual
style.
 Once
the mosaics have been completed, students will be asked to give their
creation a name. Our artist will then take the pieces back to her
studio, where she will grout each piece to enhance the personality of
the artwork. Your finished ‘masterpiece’ will then be delivered to
your hotel.
This Program is available at the Artist’s studio or at most local
hotels.

Guidelines:
* Minimum of 8 guests per class
* An
additional teacher will be added for larger classes

Shipping of artwork to guests can be arranged at a additional charge.

Classes are generally 2 hours and can be adjusted to suit your time
requirements.

Artwork will need to be grouted & have time to cure, it will then be
delivered to your hotel.
