KAYAK
NATURE TOUR - BOCA RATON
One
of the countries fastest growing leisure activities is Kayaking, and
whether you’ve a seasoned pro or a rank beginner, you’ll find this
excursion is a great way to spend an afternoon relaxing on the water
and experiencing natural Florida up close. Our trip begins at one of
South Florida’s natural gems. Nestled within a tropical hardwood
hammock, where we call Lantern Lagoon, a place that offers an
up-close look at Florida’s natural inhabitants.
Once fitted you with the necessary safety equipment, our guides will
present a short “Paddling 101”. Then we’ll hit the calm waters of Lake
Wyman. We’ll paddle along the edge of Mangrove forests that are
teaming with incredible wildlife, giving you an up close view of an
eco-system in action. We’ll also paddle past mega yachts and palatial
estates displaying the famous South Florida Lifestyle. We will weave
in and around Boca Raton’s beautiful natural parks and take a walk on
one of the many shaded boardwalk trails while our naturalists points
out the different elements that are so important to an eco system.
Our
lands us on the sandy beaches of the Gumbo Limbo Nature Center where
our Naturalist provides a tour of the Nature Center’s grounds. During
this tour you’ll be able to view sea turtles, sharks, and stingrays,
many varieties of tropical fish, that glide throughout large outdoor
seawater tanks. We’ll then make our way to the gift shop were you can
find great mementoes that will always remind you of your kayak
adventure through beautiful South Florida.

All of our Kayak
Tours include the use of our stable sit-on-top kayaks, personal
floatation devices (lifejackets), paddles, bottled water and light
snacks. Our friendly and trained kayak guides will provide a basic
paddling lesson before you launch. If you wish additional paddling
pointers while underway, just ask! Kayaking can be enjoyed by all
ages. No previous paddling experience is necessary to fully
participate. The only requirement is that you know how to swim! After
all - kayaking is a wet-sport. Be sure to bring a hat, sunscreen and a
sense of humor!
