the bridge and through the forest” - Hidden away in beautiful Boca
Raton is one of South Florida’s best kept secrets. Tucked away in a
lush green Mangrove forest is our “Private” Kayak outpost - Mangrove
Creek; where your adventure will begin. We’ll start by taking a shaded
walk along the boardwalk trail with our naturalist. As you meander
through the dense, jungle-like hardwood "hammock," you’ll learn about
the flora and fauna of South Florida’s vanishing wilderness.
The boardwalk trail will then lead you to our private outpost where
our guides will fit you with all of the necessary equipment needed,
next, you will receive a little “paddling 101” lesson. Once
instruction has been completed, you will be provided with one of our
comfortable kayaks and we’ll hit the water!

 As
you paddle along this serene environment, weaving your way through the
shaded canopy of mangrove trails you might catch a glimpse of exotic
Birds, Squirrels, Raccoons and other creatures that call this their
rare, tropical forest home. We’ll then exit the hammock into the calm
waters of Lake Wyman. Traveling along the outer edge of the hammock,
our local naturalist will assist in spotting large seabirds like
Osprey, Brown Pelicans, Turkey Vultures, as well as wading birds such
as Roseate Spoonbills, Great Blue Herons, White Ibis, and Kingfishers.
We’ll then experience a different entrance to the mangrove trails as
we make our way back to the kayak outpost in enough time to get you
back to your hotel.
Guidelines:
Minimum of 8 guests - maximum
of 80.
Beachshoes are recommended.
Guest should expect to get
wet, so dress accordingly.
